The 2025 Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race kicked off at Moon Harbor amidst inspiring drums and cheers. After rounds of rivalries, the champions emerged.
The Shazhou Youhuang Team won the 12-men Open Division; the New Era Women’s Dragon Boat Team won the 12-women Open Division; the AUO Kunshan Dragon Boat Team won the 12-men Enterprise Division; and the Kunshan Linggui Xianxing Team won the 22-member Open Division. In the youngsters’ races, the Xincheng Garden Primary School’s Sunflower Dragon Boat Team won the 22-member Primary Division, the Jinji Lake School’s Kunpeng Team won the Junior Division, and XJTLU-AS Team won the Senior Division. The Shanghai Dragons Thrusters won the 12-member International Invitational Division.
About 30,000 people watched the races on site, and the live streams of the event on 18 platforms recorded more than 10 million views.
