SIP this month has seen new progress in the long-term public opinion collection program that the local authorities run for the purpose of learning about residents’ opinions on local development and issues closely related to their daily life as well as responding to their requests.
Opinion Poll Day events have been held in 160 communities where officials from SIP authorities and representatives from local people’s congress and CPPCC committee met with over 300 residents.
The topics at the events covered community-based health services, improvement of public facilities and services concerning people’s well-being, child care services during holidays and community management.
Through the events, over 400 pieces of opinions were collected and responded positively.
