On July 27, six companies from SIP released needs for 16 AI solutions at the 2025 World AI Conference (WAIC) & High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai, hoping to find partners.
SIP has taken the initiative to link the 2025 AI Product & Application Expo (AI Expo) it is hosting with the WAIC, hoping to increase opportunities for intelligent manufacturing solution demand and supply matching in Shanghai and Suzhou.
At the WAIC, SIP initiated the “Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion of Two Cities in the Yangtze River Delta”, aiming to facilitate precise supply-demand matching and intercity collaboration for development of intelligent manufacturing.
All the six companies from SIP that solicited AI solutions at the WAIC have demonstrated excellence and strong competitiveness in emerging sectors such as those of semiconductors, biomedicine, automatic driving and healthcare. They seek partners from around the global AI sector that can help them achieve stronger growth.
At the WAIC, SIP Science & Technology Development Co Ltd, operator of SISPARK in SIP, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute and Shanghai State-owned Capital Operation Research Institute signed a strategic cooperation agreement to collaborate in fostering an AI ecosystem in the Yangtze River Delta.
Additionally, a plan of inviting WAIC participants to visit SIP was announced, aiming to deepen interactions between AI Expo and WAIC and facilitate mutually beneficial cooperation between SIP and Shanghai.
