A host of young cadres from SIP and Changshu, Taicang and Kunshan, three county-level cities under Suzhou’s jurisdiction, participated in an innovative training session in SIP on July 22.

In the form of a roundtable, the event was aimed at providing the participants with opportunities to exchange work experience, seek solutions for challenges in work, and enhance collaboration in the future.

Revolving around the role of economic powerhouse provinces in the country’s development, the participants debated a series of issues concerning policy-based financial support for businesses, balance between short-term benefits and long-term competitiveness, and priorities for industrial positioning and economic benefit.

The participants also proposed solutions for a list of challenges based on their frontline work experience, and initiated a cooperation mechanism for sharing information, cooperative talent cultivation, co-establishment of funds, and collaboration in investment promotion.
