Nanjing Customs District, or Nanjing Customs, held an event in SIP recently to explain the latest regulations on risk classification and customs supervision of special items to biomedicine companies. The event was live-streamed synchronously.

At the event, three customs officers gave 230 representatives of enterprises a detailed account of the regulations and related reform and innovation measures taken within the customs system.

The customs officers also reminded the enterprises of problems they might encounter in going through customs procedures for import and export of special items, and gave them a specific introduction to the mutual recognition of risk assessment results, joint supervision mechanism and remote online inspection implemented in the Yangtze River Delta region for efficient supervision of special items. After that, they answered the participants’ inquiries.
