The show staged at the sunken square on the right bank of Jinji Lake on July 12 added to the wonderfulness of the summer nightlife in SIP.

The show was the second of a series of performing events themed “Summer Night in SIP”, which are scheduled on the square every Saturday evening from 7:30pm to 8:30pm as weather permits.

The stage is open to all performing art enthusiasts from home and abroad. It thus far has attracted many people including expatriates from other countries, executives of enterprises and local artists.

The second show started with the African drum performance by the performers from a drum art museum, followed by well-known pop songs performed by the Lingmiao Band from Suzhou, and then classical and modern dances.
