The newly-minted “Passport: Charm of Suzhou?SIP”, a guidebook for foreign tourists, offers not only travel tips and routes, but also privileges provided by over 100 businesses.
The “Passport” came after SIP launched a two-month special program in late June with the aim of attracting tourists from South Korea. It recommends three travel routes around Jinji and Yangcheng lakes, where over 100 businesses offer discounts for shopping, consumption in catering and accommodation and cultural experiences.
SIP plans to offer 1,000 copies of the “Passport” free of charge. Inbound tourists can get them at the designated tourist centers and hotels and Suzhou City Terminal and its service station at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
